Our general meetings take place on the second Tuesday of September thru June.
We meet in the public meeting room in the Corte Madera Town Center. We have fly tying at 6:30PM, and the general meeting begins at 7:30PM. Plenty of
parking is available. General chapter meetings are not held in the months of July and August.
We normally feature an interesting speaker, typically presenting information
on conservation efforts and/or secret (well, maybe they are sort of secret!!)
fishing spots. Take a chance on our monthly raffle: you might win some
hand tied flies, a bottle of fine California wine, a book to add to your library,
or some nifty gadget you can certainly use!
Have some extra gear in the garage or closet? Feel like getting rid of those
spare items? Bring them to the meeting, and donate them to the raffle. The
proceeds from the raffle are used to pay for rental of the meeting room,
newsletter mailing costs, and other administrative costs. And, in return for
your donation, we will give you a raffle ticket. Such a deal!
Our board (and anyone else who would like to attend) meets on the last Tuesday evening
of each month, at 7:30 PM, at the Round Table
Pizza restaurant, directly across Tamalpais Blvd. from the Corte Madera
Town Center. Come a few minutes early, order dinner, and join us in
planning future and ongoing conservation efforts. Our board meets every
month, regardless of the summer recess of the general meetings.
